The first thing we have to know is that the public IP address is located directly from those who download the movie or series , through the public tracker of torrents. Although a public IP address does not identify a specific user, these letters are received directly by the owner of the Internet connection to which that public IP address belongs, regardless of whether “someone” has connected to our Wi-Fi network and You have downloaded the material.

In this way, when we connect to the VPN server from our computer, all incoming and outgoing traffic will pass through said VPN tunnel to the server, and once it is on that server, it will go to the Internet. Thanks to this technology, we can download BitTorrent very easily using a public IP address that will not identify our Internet connection, in fact, it will directly identify this VPN service.

Internet security disconnection : in case the VPN tunnel goes down, the VPN program itself interrupts any Internet connection, so that we do not download anything without going through that VPN server.

Split tunneling : if we only want to download BitTorrent using VPN, but we want to surf the Internet with our real connection, this option will allow us to do so. In this way, Torrent traffic will go through the VPN, and the rest of the traffic will go through the actual connection.

Many servers in different countries : it is recommended that we have at our disposal several VPN servers, and in different countries, to choose which is the best server for our Internet connection.

Speed and no bandwidth limit : if we are going to download by BitTorrent, it is essential that the bandwidth provided by the VPN is high, otherwise, the downloads will be very slow. The same goes for a possible limit of GB downloaded, it is essential to have no limitations.
